Recreational Gymnastics Coach – Ages 4-16
Location: Sunrise Gymnastics
Position Type: Part-time, weekdays from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
About the Role
Do you love working with kids and teens, helping them build confidence, strength, and skills? We’re looking for a dedicated Recreational Gymnastics Coach to lead our classes for children and teens aged 4-16. You’ll have the opportunity to coach in a fun, supportive environment where skill-building and personal growth go hand-in-hand. Whether teaching foundational skills to younger kids or advancing technique for older students, you’ll play a key role in their development both in gymnastics and in life!

Pay: We offer competitive pay based on experience, ranging from $22 to $30 per hour for the right person.
Responsibilities:
Coach recreational gymnastics classes for children aged 4-16, ranging from beginner to intermediate levels
Develop and implement lesson plans that build strength, flexibility, and gymnastics skills appropriate for various age groups
Create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel safe and supported
Foster a love for gymnastics by making classes fun, engaging, and structured
Provide individualized feedback to help students improve and develop at their own pace
Work closely with parents to communicate progress and set goals for each student
Maintain a safe and organized gym space, ensuring all equipment is used properly
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching, coaching, or an active role working with children
Gymnastics experience is required—we are seeking someone with strong coaching abilities who can work with kids at various skill levels
Team player, hardworking, and dedicated to helping children grow and develop
Positive attitude, patience, and the ability to engage children of all ages
Must be First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification)
Ability to develop and execute effective lesson plans
Responsible and dependable with excellent communication skills
Experience as a teacher, coach, or in a similar role is highly desired
Ability to pass a background check (provided by us)
Required Availability:
Weekdays from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with some flexibility on which weekdays you choose (preferred options: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri).
